ACS Names New European Business Leader

DALLAS, March 20 /PRNewswire/ --

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS), a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, announced today an addition to its global leadership team, supporting the Company's expansion and focus on the European market.

Riet Cadonau has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director of ACS Europe, in addition to his current responsibilities managing ACS' Transport Revenue line of business. He will lead the Company's service delivery and expansion efforts in Europe and will be based in Zurich, Switzerland.

European-based companies' increased focus on outsourcing to increase growth aligns with ACS' business process outsourcing (BPO) and Transportation Solutions expertise by providing the right mix of skills and capabilities to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Today, the Company has a growing presence in Europe with about 2,000 employees based in primary operations in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Ireland.

In his expanded role, Cadonau will be responsible for leveraging the company's BPO expertise with new and existing clients as they execute their growth strategies, both in Europe and overseas. He joined ACS following the acquisition of the Ascom Transport Revenue Division where he served as General Manager and as a member of the company's executive board. He previously worked at IBM Switzerland for 11 years, responsible for the company's Global Services.
